Myself, my second shooter and every piece of photography/camera equipment that we own traveled to the Oklahoma panhandle yesterday for an amazing wedding. I did Alisa and Chase’s engagement photos in OKC this January and had so much fun with them…I knew the wedding would be a blast as well. They are such a genuinely sweet couple and after spending time with their family and friends, it’s easy to see why. We arrived in Guymon at 10:00 a.m. to scout the area and get started with some “getting ready” shots and shot clear through the reception/dance. The ceremony went perfectly! We had so many areas to shoot from – balcony, floor, behind the couple…we were running all over the place! After the ceremony, the wedding party and family came back in for a few formals, then we headed to the Elks Lodge for the reception. Once it was good and started, we went out to the golf course (remember Chase is a professional golfer) and some wedding party shots on one of the greens with an antique Recamier (aka, fancy French sitting couch). I am going to start the post with these shots because they are so much fun!
A special thanks to my business partner, tech guy, lighting specialist, equipment carrier, second shooter and husband. He rocked this wedding! I’m so lucky to have such a great partner in life!
