Allyson and I had worked together in the wedding industry for several years so I was so excited when she inquired about wedding photography. It’s so much fun to photograph people that I already know and such an honor that someone who has planned many events would consider me. We met over Christmas break and I brought my then 2.5 year old to the meeting and he proceeded to take off his shirt in the middle of the restaurant. She booked me anyway. A few months later, I found out I was pregnant and due…11 days before the wedding. We talked it over and with proper back ups just in case, she decided to go ahead with me photographing her big day. This says so much about this sweet girl! She trusted me so much and I will be forever grateful. Being pregnant does not mean I cannot do my job…scroll down to see what I mean.
Allyson and Andrew’s November wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather was perfect, the couple was perfect, the family and wedding party were amazing to work with. This was the best wedding I could have done to top off my decade. Here are just a few of my favorite shots!
