Now that Amy and Michael have seen their wedding photos, I’m so excited to be able to share them! This Spring has been brutal with the amount of rain that the Tulsa metro has seen, especially in the month of May. For 10 days before the wedding they were predicting rain but I still hoped that it would clear up for ceremony time so that Amy and Michael could have the outdoor wedding that they planned. We weren’t so lucky but the setup inside the Silo was absolutely gorgeous! Many brides would be in tears but Amy was so calm and handled it in a very classy way. I just loved getting to photograph this special couple.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Amy, you are gorgeous!

Literally, we got in three frames before it started raining and we headed to the Redberry Inn to finish photos inside.

Ceremony time!

We fit in a few portraits before the couple headed to the party!

A little rain on the lens never hurt anyone.

First dance as a married couple!

Toasts!

Haha, Michael isn’t camera shy at all. 😉

Heath and I have has this shot in the back of our mind for a while now, we just haven’t had the circumstances align (rain at the right time and a willing couple) to get it. Poor Amy had just changed from her wedding dress to her party dress when we finished setting the shot up. I showed them the test shot of Heath and they decided to go for it. I’m in love with the results. I can’t say enough about this couple and how they embraced the flash floods (it wasn’t just sprinkling here…it was pouring) realizing it was one thing that made their day unique.
