I grew up with Jose in the tiny town of Plains, Kansas, and had kept up with him through social media throughout the years. I was so excited when I saw that he was engaged and even more excited when they contacted me to photograph their wedding! Their engagement will be less than a year but the timing worked out perfectly around me having baby #2. They were the last full engagement session that I did before maternity leave and their wedding will be my first afterwards. It will be so much fun capping my leave with this adorable couple! They drove all the way from Kansas City to shoot the engagement session at my studio outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We had originally had it planned for a friday but with a 90% chance of rain, we bumped it back a day…it worked perfectly. The love these two have for each other is infectious. I can’t wait to travel to KC for the big day in July!
