We can’t think of a better way to have spent our 4th of July weekend than with Katie and Jonathan. These two were a dream! They were so full of love and happiness that it made my job so easy capturing the joy of the day. And joy was something that was in abundance with not only them but also with the family and wedding party. I’m not sure how I get so lucky to be a part of moments like this! Here are a few, ok a lot, of my favorites from the day. Click here to view their downtown engagement session as well!

These shoes tho!
These bridesmaids were so amazing. The love and support they gave to Katie and her family was so fun!
Yep, that’s Katie and Jonathan’s faces on M&M’s!
Part of Katie’s gift to Jonathan was a video blog where Katie recorded her thoughts and feelings every day of their engagement. Such a romantic idea!
As always, Heath nailed these getting ready shots of Jonathan!
Oh how I love the Mayo for getting ready photos!
This necklace was Katie’s great grandmother’s.
Now to Asbury for the ceremony!
First look with Katie and her dad.
Katie and Jonathan’s first look!
We did a few portraits in the breezeway. One of my favorite spots in Tulsa for bridal photos!
At the final consultation, Katie’s mom requested that the photos of her kids be less formal. She just wanted some pictures of them being themselves. I think we nailed it! 😉
Gah, you two are adorable!
The ceremony!
Heath is the king of the peek-a-boo shots. Here Katie is waiting for her dad in the bridal suite. I love the look of nervous anticipation on her face. So in love with this shot!
In the next series of photos, you will see the progression of Jonathan seeing his bride walk down the aisle. I want you to keep in mind that he did do a first look and it didn’t matter. He was still overcome with emotion seeing his bride. Love!
Love the Trolley!
The reception!
Katie and Jonathan had their cocktail hour in the Grand Hall where they made their entrance on the gorgeous staircase. Then the guests filtered upstairs to the Crystal Ballroom for the reception.
The Crystal Ballroom never gets old.
That view never gets old either!
First dance as a married couple! They took dancing lessons from Lionsroad Studios and absolutely nailed it!
Father/daughter and Mother/son dances!
Let the party begin!
I always, always sneak the couple upstairs while the guests are filtering downstairs for the exit to snag a photo by the Mayo sign all lit up. Always!
