It’s a new year and we have a new look to our blog! I am also combining the “Getting Ready & Portraits” blog post with the “Ceremony & Reception” blog post for one mega post! Saturday, we headed to Jenks to Katy’s parent’s property for their beautiful wedding. I first met Katy last December at her best friend’s wedding that I shot (she was a bridesmaid) and fell in love with her sweet personality. It was so cool to meet her whole family…I see why she is the way she is. It was clear when I met Jordan that they were perfect for each other. I crossed my fingers for snow the day of the wedding but it came the next day. It would have been so cool for these meteorology majors! Even without the snow, the day was perfect. Katy was so giddy all day and the wedding was so beautiful and heart-felt. Congrats, you two!

The house has a tower, which is basically a room with 360 windows…I knew this was my getting ready spot. It was like shooting in a giant soft box. Plus, the view was amazing!
Meanwhile, in the guy’s room…
I just loved the flowers that Katy’s sister added to her hair. Such a sweet touch!
Katy, you are gorgeous!
Katy and Jordan did a first touch before the ceremony. They didn’t want to see each other but they did get a chance to chat for a bit. So sweet!
The ceremony!
They played the cutest slide show just before the ceremony!
We took a few photos by the fountain that they had put in just for the wedding. I think they are happy to be married. 🙂
The reception!
We busted out the off-camera lighting for a few photos with the pretty Christmas lights. Love!
And, of course, the sparkler exit! I love the clothes they changed into!
