I just love this couple! Kim and Jacob were very active in choosing locations to shoot at for the engagement session. They wanted to go to places that meant something to them, which I think is fantastic. Engagements are the best shoots to personalize. These locations mixed with a few of my favorite spots made for some amazing photos. Generally I’m a little disappointed if we have an overcast sky on a session but it didn’t matter yesterday. We shot mostly at urban areas so I made my own directional light by shooting in alleyways, etc. We got some super sweet moments during this session…I can’t wait to see what we get at the wedding! Here are a few of my faves. Thanks to my intern, Gabbie, for helping out!
This loading dock is a popular spot to shoot at in town. We got there and this heart was already made for Kim and Jacob! 🙂
I couldn’t decided between the following two shots…so I posted them both!
Excuse me, how about this fabulous ring?! Jacob got Kim an antique, vintage engagement ring. Those are blue sapphires on the side. I LOVE it!
The couple who scrabbles together, stays together. 🙂
The Tulsa skyline and the apartment that Kim and Jacob live in is in the background. Love.
Seriously. Kim, you are gorgeous!
I seriously can’t stop looking at these! I just LOVE how they turned out. 🙂
Yay! You two are naturals in front of the camera! Can’t wait for the wedding! 🙂
Beautiful couple!! Absolutely beautiful pictures!! Looking at these brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. You definitely captured Kim and Jacob’s “happiness”!!
Thank you, Patty! I shoot for happy tears every time. 😉
