This St. Patty’s Day wedding at The Mayo Hotel was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever shot. I loved how Kirsten and Ian embraced the holiday by encouraging their friends to wear shamrock suits, served green beer, and gave the guests St. Patty’s Day accessories. These two have been a joy to work with from day one. I loved getting to know Kirsten and Ian more on their engagement shoot downtown Tulsa and their families at the wedding.
Funny story – when I met with Kirsten for her final consultation to go over the shoot schedule, she started talking about the weather. Most people look to me for advice on the subject so, without thinking about who I was talking to, I started giving her my two cents. When she started in on the “fronts” and “patterns”, I remembered. Haha, its nice having a Meteorologist as a client! Seriously though, she ordered up a perfect March day for this wedding!

First Look!
We did a few portraits out front of the Mayo before family portraits.
Then I got just a few in the hallway on the Mezzanine level. I’m in love with these!

Here are a few details of the decor in the ballroom. NAE and Crooked Roots nailed it!
Aaaaaand just a few portraits on the rooftop before the couple headed to the reception! That sunset though!
