First of all…a great big congrats to Megan and Ben who – as I post this – just finished getting married! Yay!

I just love bridal sessions and I’m always thrilled when I get a bride who wants one. Megan wanted to have a print from her session on display at the reception on her wedding day so we scheduled the bridal severals weeks before. I’ve been dying to post these photos for weeks! Inspired by my recent trip to Napa Valley, California, I suggested that we photograph the session at a local winery. After visiting the Stone Bluff Cellars estate, I knew that I had found a gem! We scheduled the session during the golden hour and the light was absolutely magical! I brought in Mikala Ewald for makeup, Kate Burke for hair and The French Bouquet for the the bridal bouquet to ensure that Megan was fully pampered. I really had so much fun getting to know this extraordinary gal. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

The wedding is May 26…so naturally we went to the 26th row of vines 🙂

The Stone Bluff property also included this beautiful field of wild flowers and a pond. The end of April was the perfect time for a spring session!

Megan used peacock feathers at her wedding. Beautiful!

One thing that I love about Megan is that she has deep roots in her family history. She brought along several family heirlooms to the session and I was more than happy to photograph them.

Megan’s husband is a Tulsa Police Officer. Love it!

Megan’s husband painted her toe nails for her! So sweet!
