I’ve been waiting since last Spring to show images from this shoot and now that it has been published on the Artfully Wed blog, I can finally do it! I was all set to photograph Cheyenne’s wedding in May of last year and then my son decided he wanted to make an appearance two weeks later. She is a beautiful gal inside and out and I was heartbroken to have to bow out. Instead we planned a styled bridal that highlighted her Native American heritage. We shot it at my outdoor studio which actually used to be a part of the Osage Reservation. It’s a different tribe than Cheyenne is a part of but still a fun fact. We shot it just as the leaves were starting to bud (one of my favorite times to shoot!). She brought all kinds of props that mean something to her and her tribe (see the Artfully Wed post for more info). April Mary with Faccia Bella did the hair and makeup and, I must say, she outdid herself. I gave her absolutely no direction and this is what she came up with. Love!!!

Huge thanks to Rachel for helping me out with this shoot!
