In 2012 I decided to focus solely on my wedding photography and stopped offering basic portrait sessions (family, children, maternity, etc.) to new clients. I always worked in existing clients or past brides because I just love the bond of photographing people more than once but would refer any new client inquiries to other photographers. At the time, this was exactly what I needed to do to focus myself. Two years ago this month, we moved out to our 16-acre outdoor studio and have started doing engagements, bridals, trash-the-dress and day-after sessions on the property. To say that I love shooting out here would be an understatement. It’s private and intimate and that allows me to tailor a session exactly to my clients. Every winter during my slow season, I take step back to reevaluate my business as a whole and set new goals for the upcoming year(s). I had a brilliant idea…Picturesque Studios Portrait Sessions!

I will now be offering exclusive portrait sessions at Picturesque Studios for new as well as existing clients. These will be 30 to 60 minute sessions at the studio all scheduled during the week (my weekends are reserved for weddings and wedding related shoots) anytime during the last two hours before sunset. Clients are welcome to bring any sort of prop or style the shoot in ANY way. There are absolutely no restrictions. If you can dream it, we can make it happen. The session fee includes the my time, creative talent, and photographic expertise to capture your family. Digital images, canvases, framed prints, and albums are available for purchase. These sessions include family, children, maternity, outdoor boudoir, cake smash, gender reveals and “just because” shoots. Below are a few examples! (The only exceptions are newborns where I photograph it as a lifestyle session generally at the client’s home and high school seniors where multiple locations are allowed).

I’m so excited to be offering portrait sessions again! Please inquire for detailed pricing!
