I love it when a plan comes together. Heath and I bought this Whitehall rowboat a couple years ago and have been working on cleaning it up in our spare time. Last Spring we decided to give it its maiden voyage as the ultimate photography prop. First, we needed a pond. As most of you know, we have a pond on our property but it recently had a run in with a family of beavers who left it a bit rough around the edges. Instead we decided to reach out to Spain Ranch to see if they were interested in hosting the shoot. When they agreed, I immediately contacted my girl Nicole Allen to design the shoot. Wow. It is such a dream to be able to work with such talented people on a daily basis.
While Nicole was a hard at work, Mike with Lionsroad said he had an idea for a styled shoot and when we saw the inspiration photo, we were hooked. That is how the light tunnel including 600 feet of light strands containing 1800 individual twinkle lights came to life. It took 3 people 3 hours to set up this bad boy. The table scape set was a great transition from the boat portion to finish out the shoot.
We were thrilled when one of our favorite blogs, Wedding Chicks, decided to publish the images!
Also a special thanks to past Picturesque couple, Chase and Madison, for modeling for us!
