I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Shad’s brother’s wedding a couple years ago and I was so excited when Stephanie called me. I’ve known Shad since we were kids and I just love that we were able to be a part of their day. We tried several times to get together for an engagement session but it ended up being canceled for one reason or another so this was the first time that I met Stephanie in person. She is such a sweet girl and was so calm and collected on the wedding day even when a few things didn’t go exactly as planned. We had so much fun with this couple all day. Stephanie hid in the bathroom the entire time that she was getting her hair and makeup done then had a big reveal with her mom and bridesmaids. It was sooooooooo sweet! I might have teared up!

What I love about this shot is that it is completely candid! Shad and Stephanie rode in different limos from the ceremony to the photo location and couldn’t resist a smooch after seeing each other again. Love!
Stephanie’s dad is a firefighter, so we just had to stop by the station for a few photos!
